As planned it was deemed necessary to set a pilot project phase whose main purposes were to identify the compatibility of the designed curricula to the targeted learners, it was also a means of finessing the curricula and adjust it accordingly to the teaching-learning environment and with the available but also affordable teaching materials.

As planned it was deemed necessary to set a pilot project phase whose main purposes were to identify the compatibility of the designed curricula to the targeted learners, it was also a means of finessing the curricula and adjust it accordingly to the teaching-learning environment and with the available but also affordable teaching materials.

It is in this regard that on 9th December 2019 the pilot project started with a group of 20 learners from 4 different schools with mixed-gender (boys and girls) whose age varied from 6 to 12 years, the pilot project lasted 10 days and it was carried out during working days (Monday to Friday) a day session was comprised of 5 hours (from 8h00 am-12h00am).

During the pilot project with the assistance of qualified teachers, learners got the opportunity to undertake various courses according to the pre-established curriculum, this provided a great chance for RFEL to adjust its pre-established curriculum according to demonstrated challenges met while piloting.

The pilot project ended on 20th December 2019
